It did not get very dark or anything real noticeable where I am at but I watched it on the Science channel last night they did an hour special it was pretty cool Then I got caught up on all the How the Universe Works episodes and did not get to sleep till like 3 am

My grandma, who lives in New York, said it got darker there and lasted for about an hour or two, from what I remember.
