http://news.sky.com/story/tower-block-cladding-27-buildings-fail-fire-safety-tests-10925792 Terrible disaster recently in the UK, heartbreaking to see what these families had to go through. The implications to high rise buildings and the construction industry throughout the world will be enormous.
I heard a freezer started the fire. On the radio a dj said he knew someone who works on freezers who said you need to clean around them and vacuum underneath to prevent fires...check yours out.
I watched the footage live on sky news the speed at which the fire spread up the building due to the external cladding being flammable was frightening. How many more high rises in the world have the same issues and as Wildman says all from a faulty freezer. Sorry for the sad thread but this stuff needs sharing and people need to be aware. Families were going to bed or already asleep when totally unaware this happened.
I wouldn't want to live around other people as you could be doing everything right and someone else screws up...you end up paying for their mistake or unintentional mistake with your life. What a tragedy here..
