CHANTILLY, VA - An orthotist is custom-making prosthetic limbs for injured animals, giving them a chance to move on all fours again.

Derrick Campana makes everything from prosthetic beaks to paws at his animal rehabilitation facility in Virginia.

Provided by USA Today One of his most well-known patients is Hudson, a pit bull who was nailed down to train tracks as a puppy. Hudson's paw had to be amputated due to severe abuse, but a prosthetic paw from Campana has now given Hudson the chance to serve others as a therapy

Nailed down to train tracks as a puppy. I would like the same for the owner.
