I was putting up more Halloween decorations and was on the ladder and didn't notice a giant spider above my head until I reached up to put Halloween lights to outline the roof I saw this big ass spider that was NOT one of my decorations It was soo big it scared the fuck out of me and I fell off the ladder twisting my left leg in the process I can walk and didn't break anything but it hurts like hell I live in the woods so spiders are expected but I never saw one this big on my house I gave up on the roof lights and will have to settle with the windows and door lights Me and ladders just don't get along

The first time I was actually scared by a spider was under similar circumstances. I was watching a YouTube video of a guy on a ladder trying to catch a large spider with a wide mouth container. The spider was on the ceiling. Of course the spider jumped right at the camera just as the guy was trying to catch it. I didn't expect that to happen. I damn near killed myself when I rapidly pushed back in my chair and falling backwards in the process.
